Frequently Asked Questions - Please read before booking an appointment!

When will you open?

The berries will ripen in mid-May.  We will post updates to the website, Facebook, and Instagram once we have an exact opening date.  We are not able to accept visitors until the official opening because we are busy getting ready for you! The season should run through early July (whenever the berries are picked out).

What days/hours are you open? (Hours may vary! Check homepage for ticket times)

Tuesday-Saturday:  8am - 3pm.

Sunday:  12pm - 5pm

Closed Monday

*Occasionally, we will post an evening pick from 6-8pm. Check ticket availability for evening options. Hours for special events will vary!

*Days and hours are subject to change based on weather and berry availability. If our farm closes due to inclement weather, we will notify you by email and honor your ticket at any other time during the season. Be sure and check your email before coming if the weather looks iffy.

How much does it cost?

Farm admission: $5+fees/person for tickets booked online in advance or $6/person if purchased at check-in. Upon arrival, choose and pay for your buckets and optional tour tickets.(Admission is for feet on the ground - non-walking babies are free.)

Bucket Pricing:

Small/Kid Size: $12 (may be used by 1 person)

Medium: $26 (may be shared by 2 people)

Large: $40 (may be shared by 3 people)

*These prices do not include the cost of keeping the bucket. If you’d like to keep your bucket to take your berries home in, you may purchase those at check-in.  We provide bags if you are not keeping your bucket.

* Pre-picked berries are $9/lb. Please call ahead, or prepare to wait for the berries to be picked fresh for you.

Does everyone need a bucket?

Yes, everyone age 4 and up who is entering the berry fields needs a bucket. Sadly, in the past we have had large groups go in with only one person purchasing a bucket and everyone freely snacking in the field. This wasn’t fair to our family, so we had to change our policy. Bucket sharing is now only allowed per the above pricing guidelines. If you do not wish to pick, you are welcome to enjoy some lemonade and relax in the shade while your group goes into the patch.

How many berries are in a bucket?

Small/Kid-size: about 1 1/2 lbs

Medium: about 3 1/2 lbs

Large: about 5 1/2 lbs

How do I visit the farm to pick those delicious berries?

Reservations are required and can be made on the home page. Check the website often for newly added picking time slots. and occasional evening picks.  We will also post updates to Instagram and Facebook.

Once you’ve reserved your spot, you will receive a confirmation email with a QR code.  No need to print - just show your phone when you come!

IMPORTANT!  The entrance to the farm is a narrow private road.  Please drive slowly, and use caution when proceeding to the parking area.  Follow the signs to park, head to the check-in tent to pick up your buckets, then out to the berry patch!

Can I bring a bus load of pickers?

Please, no buses - they won’t fit! Sizes up to 15 passenger vans are fine.

Why do I have to make an appointment to pick?

We are a small family-owned farm and want everyone to have a great experience when they visit!  That means making sure we have plenty of berries and plenty of parking for everyone who is coming.  You’ll be able to enjoy picking without crowds of people.

We want to respect our neighbors, and ensure traffic safety for our visitors.

What payment forms do you accept?

Cash, debit and credit cards. (Cash is preferred to save on those big credit card fees, but we take them all!)

Can I buy some of these amazing blackberry plants for myself?

Yes you can!  We will have several varieties of thornless blackberry plants for sale, as well as other plants and small trees for purchase.  Our blackberries are disease-free, patented University of Arkansas varieties.

Can I turn my children loose on the farm?

No. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times for their safety.

Can I bring my pet?

We adore animals, but please leave your pets at home. They may not be compatible with our animals and other guests.

Are there bugs?

Yes! We use organic practices and share the farm with all of nature. We recommend using insect repellant before picking. We make our own natural insect repellant with essential oils, and it is available for purchase in the farm store.

What else can we do at the farm?

Just slow down and enjoy the slower pace of country life. See our farm animals in their natural habitats - chickens, ducks, mini donkeys, and our horse Dusty. We have Adirondack chairs and picnic tables for your use. Enjoy a picnic lunch under the trees. We will take your family picture at our antique wagon photo op station!

New this year for your picking enjoyment! We have added a high tunnel and are growing tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers for you to pick (when available).

We provide wagons for your children at no charge for your use during your visit.

Enjoy some homemade blackberry lemonade or a popsicle under the pecan trees.

Play cornhole, horseshoes, tetherball or ring toss.

Special events are offered periodically. See events page for details!

Are there other things for sale at the farm?

Browse seasonal produce, other plants, free-range eggs, handmade soaps, skincare products, t-shirts, and other fun items available at the checkout tent.

Port-a-potties are available and are serviced weekly.  (Buccees and Race-Trac are nearby if you’d like to stop before you come.) A handwashing station is available.

If it has rained, there will be some muddy areas, so please wear appropriate shoes. This is a working farm!
